[Nfbf-l] Attention all diabetics!!The Diabetes Awareness group is starting!!

I am not a diabetic but I have people who are close to me who are. Would it be okay for me to join the group even though I'm not a diabetic? I need to learn more about diabetes and I think this group would be most informative for me so I can be of assistance to others.
