[NFBF-L] Spectrum Rebate

I am getting the boxes Monday morning. Call Spectrum, (855)222-0102 and ask for someone in Video Repair or say that from the main menu. I spoke with a very nice person named Destiny. She said most of the people in video repair are accessibility trained and know what we are talking about when we ask for the accessible set top box. There are several types, depending if you want a DVR or not. I am getting a box for each of my two TV's. I am very excited about it. Hope this information helps.

Morning all,
Last week I called the number listed in the e-mail and I did get a return call back from the person who is handling this from the Fcb prospective.
I forget her name, but here are some observations I made.
She was kind to me on the phone and stated that Spectrum is working on this project out of one of their CO offices and this process has not been rolled out nationally to their customer base as of yet.
I asked about the specifics of the offering to find out what we will actually be getting as customers from a technical prospective and she was unable to give me any information as she herself is not a Spectrum customer.
So as of this point we do not know if we are just getting a talking regular box or if this box will have dvr functionality.
When it comes to cable if we still want an accessible dvr our best option right now is Tivo if you are a Spectrum customer until someone tells us differently.

Thanks,
Tom

I too have this problem and I am hoping that someone on the list knows how to connect with the correct Spectrum personnel so that we know our emails containing the requested information for the rebate and the new box for the blind and visually impaired was received. It isn't cool not to receive some sort of reply confirming that our information was received by Spectrum.

Hi,
I sent an e-mail with my account info as requested to the address in the below e-mail.
I have not heard anything back from this person in any way.
How do I know my request was received and will be processed?

Tom
