Judy,

I’ve had that happen to me two or three times. I’m not sure how or why my number became a part of a group of other numbers, but I just deleted the messages without responding and it stopped.

Greetings,

Has anyone encountered a cell phone problem where a number unknown to you is part of a Media Group Message? Somehow somebody in that group has your number and you become unwillingly roped into their group whether you wanted to be there or not. I spoke to one individual in the group that called me when I texted back to "Id yourself because you have the wrong number" The messages were exploding all over. Unlike a lot of folks, I do not have unlimited text so am charged a fee for each text that is not a Verizon Free Text Message. I had a "Chat" with Verizon Customer Service so that I would not be billed for these messages and they told me I needed to contact them again in August when my billing period is up. I supplied them with some of the common numbers in the Media Blitz and am planning another Online Strategy call to find out how to block these numbers or get this group Media messaging off my system. Anybody want to tackle this? or am I on the right track? Please write back Off List at jrhamilton51 at earthlink.net <mailto:jrhamilton51 at earthlink.net> . Thank you.

Judy
