[NFBF-L] Very Sad News

i spoke with Brooke several times in regards to Newsline and other things. She is a genuinely nice person who cared about others and even with her challenges, was a tireless advocate for the blind community, the NFB and the deaf-blind community in particular. I was so sad when I learned of her illness and now am saddened to know of her passing. I am glad she had some idea how much she means to our NFBF family. Just another reason for us to always express our love and respect for one-another. This life is very short. Condolences and prayers for peace for her family.
