[NFBF-L] Coronavirus

Hello,

I hope this finds everyone well and safe. I just wanted to share this article about three young men who are in our Nfb of Virginia affiliate and our fighting the coronavirus. They are triplet brothers and are 20 years old. 

I definitely want to ask that you all please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, so that they can heal from this horrific illness. In addition, please keep Dr. Brian Miller‘s family in your thoughts and prayers. He was also part of the Nfb of Virginia affiliate and contributed a lot to the Nfb of Washington DC and Nfb of Maryland. He passed away a few weeks ago due to the coronavirus. 

Brian was extremely adventurous and loved to travel. He wrote several blogs on the blind travelers network website about his various experiences. He definitely lived life to the absolute fullest. 

I continue to pray that you all stay safe and well during these uncertain times. It may seem a bit frustrating having to stay at home, but please know that it is definitely the best thing at the moment. As some of you may know, I have a public health background and though we are getting restless and want to venture out, because that’s what we do as humans, if things open to soon, they’re going to be detrimental ramifications to creating a worse scenario than what we are currently experiencing. So, take this time to meditate, get to know your inner self, clean your house, catch up with friends on the telephone, read a good book or anything else that gives you peace at the moment. Just know, this too shall pass and when it does, we will be stronger.
