Hello, everyone. I also will not be attending tomorrow's Sunrise and Shine
call. This is because I will be having a visitor and we have important
things to discuss. However, I certainly do intend to come back in January,
2021. Also, I would like to wish everyone in our rather fun group happy
holidays. Please stay safe, take care of yourselves, and take care of each
other. Big hugs.

December 17th at 10:00 a.m. Come for the challenge, stay for the laughs!
Good morning everyone!
I'm finding it hard to believe that we will, most likely, have our last
Sunrise and Shine call of 2020 tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. The year started off
just fine, but then in March, took a very strange turn. I suppose you could
say that 2020 has been, well, "memorable". I was so very glad we started
meeting together on Zoom in April. If someone were to ask me for my top 10
happenings of the year, I would most certainly place our collective
gatherings high on the list.
You might be asking, "how should we celebrate our 2020 farewell party"? The
answer is easy, with trivia, of course! Our previous trivia Time call was
back in October, just prior to the Florida NFB state convention. There was
a great deal of interest in bringing Trivia Time back, so I'm happy to
oblige and honored to serve as your humble quiz master. I think what I
remember most about our previous brain brawl was all the laughter, (I mean,
who knew that Sherri couldn't remember how to spell her own name, or that
Wendy didn't know what state she lived in). Tomorrows questions should
contain a nice mix, some will be as easy as pie while some might just be a
little more challenging. If you don't think you are any good at trivia,
that's okay, you'll have team mates around you that probably know all sorts
of strange facts.
We always have a great time together, learning a bit about NFB Newsline,
learning from one another and sharing what we've been up to. Tomorrow
morning, December 17th, at 10:00 a.m., we'll do just that!
I hope you will take the time to stop by and say hello. If you haven't yet
joined us on these fantastic Zoom calls, I know you will find the regulars
who have been joining us since the beginning, to be warm and welcoming.
Sometimes the chatter gets a bit lively, but that's all part of the fun, (or
maybe it's the strong coffee from Swaziland).
Again, we will use the Zoom platform for the call, but if you haven't spent
much time on Zoom, don't let that keep you away either. There are several
different ways to call in, including the familiar conference call method of
using your landline or mobile phone to dial a phone number and access code.
I hope that with Sunrise and Shines out of the ordinary time slot , we will
get to hear from some of the family and friends we have been missing.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me before the
call at our NFB Newsline of Florida toll-free support line. Check the bottom
of this email for the Zoom call-in instructions. Looking forward to visiting
with you this Thursday. Who’s bringing the hot soup, warm blankets and the
fake fireplace logs??
