FCC Adopts Audio Description Expansion and Modernizes Terminology


On October 27, 2020, the FCC released a Report and Order expanding the audio
description requirements by an additional 10 designated market areas each
year for the next four years.  In addition, the Report and Order modernizes
the Commission's terminology to use the more common and widely understood
term "audio description" rather than "video description." To access this
