Dear Friend,

As we continue to observe Black History Month this February, I would like to invite you to join a virtual conversation with Black leaders in Central Florida TODAY, Monday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. This event seeks to elevate local Black voices and listen to the issues facing the Black community in our area. In the course of this discussion, we’ll aim to dissect some of the most urgent issues affecting the Black community, from the COVID-19 pandemic, to social justice, to jobs and housing, and more.

I will facilitate the panel on Facebook Live <https://murphy.house.gov/components/redirect/r.aspx?ID=1793-731765> , which will include the following speakers:

*	Dr. Karenna Senors, Chief Medical Officer of True Health
*	Pastor Octavius Smith, Senior Pastor of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church
*	Emory Green, Lead Volunteer of Midway Coalition, Inc.
*	Dr. Barbara Jenkins, Superintendent of Orange County Public Schools

I know that our community continues to feel the impact of this pandemic in different ways, which is why I am hosting this panel to discuss disparities within communities of color, and the best way we can move forward together. I encourage all those in Florida’s Seventh Congressional District, which includes all of Seminole County and most of northern Orange County, to join us.
