Dear Camille,

I am very sorry to hear about the death of your Chapter member Peggy Powell. It sounds like she was a nice person, who enjoyed helping the members who needed assistance. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, and the members of the Melbourne Chapter that will certainly miss having her in their lives. Heartfelt sympathy to all of you.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of one of our beloved chapter members, Peggy Powell. Peggy joined us several years ago and was a hoot! As a sighted member of our chapter, she willingly helped at chapter meetings and sight guided for members who needed assistance. Unfortunately, Peggy was diagnosed with cancer, in addition to other health concerns and lost her battle on Saturday, June 26. Please joined us in sharing our condolences with her family and friends.  

 

Peggy will be dearly missed!
