Hello. Unfortunately, I did not remember to record the meeting, but I
will put notes at the end of this message for what we discussed. If I
find a program for removing duplicate pictures, I will let you know.
Are you looking for an app for the iPhone or a program for the PC?
now for the notes:
We discussed using the Numbers spreadsheet app using VoiceOver and a
Bluetooth keyboard on an iPhone or iPad.
If you have an Apple compatible Bluetooth keyboard, you can hold down
Control and Option and press left or right arrow to move around the
Numbers screen or a spreadsheet.
To start a new spreadsheet, activate the Add button either by double-
tapping on it or pressing Control Option Space on it if using
VoiceOver.
Tap on it one time if not using VoiceOver.
You will then get a list of templates to choose from. If you just want
a blank sheet, choose one of the basic templates.
You can move around a spreadsheet holding down Control and Option and
pressing Left or Right arrow.
In Numbers, the first row is used for column titles.
To Enter data into cells, double-tap on the cell or press Control
Option Space.
When you are entering data, you can either press Tab to go to the next
column or Control Option Left or Right Arrow. The advantage of using
Control Option Left or Right Arrow is that VoiceOver will read the
column titles to you each time you go to a different column.
We also discussed moving around an iPhone or iPad in general using a
Bluetooth keyboard.
There are a couple ways of moving around using a Bluetooth keyboard.
One is to hold down Control Option and press either Left or Right
arrow. Another way is to turn on Quick Nav by pressing Left and Right
arrow keys together. After that, you can just press left or right arrow
to move around a page.
Pressing Control Option Space is the same as double-tapping.
To use the rotor, press Left and Up arrows together until you get to
something like words, characters, lines, or whatever you want to move
by. Then press up or down arrow to move by that.
Press Control Option H to go to the Home Screen.
To go to the App Switcher, hold down Control and Option and press the
letter H twice quickly.
To close an app in the App Switcher, down arrow to Close then press
Control Option Space.
There are some aditional key strokes you can use on an iPad that is
running iPad OS 15.
Hold down Command and press Tab to switch between applications.
Hold down Command and press Space to search your iPad.
Other keyboard key strokes for iPads can be found at the site
