[NFBF-L] Florida Affiliate Student Scholarship deadline

Greetings Florida Federationists, , 

 

This is a friendly  reminder that today is the last day to submit your  2022
national Federation of the Blind Student Scholarship.

 

No documentation will be accepted after the 11:59 PM deadline.  Please make
sure to use the scholarship checklist document to ensure all of the
information submitted is completed.  

 

Scholarship recipients will receive their awards at the 2022 Annual State
convention scheduled for the weekend of Friday, October 7th through Sunday,
October 9th in Jacksonville, Florida.

 

Qualified high school seniors and college students must complete the
scholarship application form in MS word format, write a 500 word essay,
provide two letters of recommendation, and submit their academic
transcripts. 

 

All documentation must be return to:

The National Federation of the Blind of Florida will be awarding three
scholarships, each in the amount of $1,500 at the National Federation of the
Blind of Florida annual convention banquet on Sunday evening, October 9th,
2022.

 

Completed applications are due no later than September 6, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.
