I think of my iPhone as a computer that makes phone calls. As a result, Instead of turning on my Windows computer when I get home from work, I often check email and do other things using my iPhone. The following key strokes can make working with email more efficient If you use an Apple compatible Bluetooth keyboard. If you need to orient yourself to the keys on the keyboard and you use VoiceOver, you can double-tap with 4 fingers to turn on VoiceOver help.
Command n - start new message
If a message is open, you can press Command r to reply to a message.
After you press one of those key strokes, you can press Command Shift d to send the message.
When an email is open, press Command shift f to forward a message.
Press Escape to close a message.
