Disabled flag football league forming in Tallahassee

A legally blind man is working to get a flag football league started that
accommodates people with disabilities. David Bailey created a similar league
in Daytona, and now he wants to do the same in Tallahassee.

January is Glaucoma Awareness Month. Dr. Sai Chavala , an ophthalmologist
and professor of surgery at the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU, discusses
glaucoma - what it is, who's vulnerable and how to prevent it.

Visual-snow syndrome is a neurological condition with a constellation of
visual and non-visual symptoms. The hallmark symptom is seeing static or
clashing lights and flickering dots that constantly obstructs vision. Since
the cause is likely neurological, optometrists and ophthalmologists will see
nothing structurally wrong with the eye, and the condition may not be
properly diagnosed due to lack of awareness of the condition.

A pair of separate eye diseases may contribute to age-related macular
degeneration (AMD), one of the leading causes of blindness in the United
States, according to results from a new study from New York Eye and Ear
Infirmary of Mount Sinai in New York.

they're now able to conduct clinical trials to treat blindness. One of those
