[NFBF-L] Urgent Prayer Request for Mr. Joe Naulty

Good morning Arlene,
I spoke with Julia Savage last night to get update on Joe’s condition.
She told me of her last visit this past week to see Joe.
I am glad he is resting peacefully.
Joe gave much of his energy to help others. He is a widely respected leader in the Deaf Blind community, and he will always be remembered for his friendly and positive leadership.
I am blessed by knowing and working with him.
I am including Joe’s good friend Cathy Miller, former leader with Joe in the NFB National Deaf Blind Division. She is in communication with the national deaf blind new Board, and can inform them of Joe’s current circumstances.
Joe worked hard against many difficulties to become founder of this National NFBF Deaf Blind Division and the Florida State Deaf Blind Division

Prayers are definitely being sent to Joe and Arlene Naulty! Joe always had wise wisdom to share and  was always willing to work hard for the Federation. His jokingly personality always put a smile to everyone’s face that he came across. May God be with him and his family during this process.

I spoke with Mrs. Arlene Naulty , wife of our longtime leader of the Deaf Blind Division. Joe has been in the nursing home for most of the year, with poor health , and injuries from a fall. Arlene says that he has been moved to Hospice Care. She is asking our Florida Affiliate, to please keep Joe and the entire Naulty family in your thoughts and prayers. Joe was also the founder and President , of at least two Chapters in the Florida Affiliate. We all have been blessed to know Joe and Ms. Arlene. Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Joe Naulty for your service to the blind, and especially to the Deaf Blind in Florida and throughout the United States.
