April 11th at 9:00 AM

Good Morning 'Rise and Shine Fans and Family!

I am so excited to send you this announcement, not only because Sunrise and
Shine with NFB-NEWSLINER is celebrating an amazing 4th anniversary but also
because we have an incredible guest speaker and topic for this weeks
gathering. We've been wanting to have the folks from Be My Eyes with us for
a very long time and this Thursday, April 11th at 9:00 AM,(Eastern), the
founder of Be My Eyes, Hans Jorgen Wiberg will be joining us to help
celebrate our momentous event. Hans will be joining in all the way from
Denmark, (that's a first for us I believe).

Be My Eyes has led the way for remote assistance volunteer services for
people in the blind and print impaired communities and has continually added
new and exciting features since it launched as a mobile app several years
ago.

I can't overstate how the feature known as, "Be My AI" has impacted my life
in an incredible way. I use this feature multiple times every single day.
It's a total game changer for so many other users who I've spoken with.
Another feature that I am beginning to rely on heavily is the "service
provider" directory. Like the AI feature, there's no need to speak with a
sighted volunteer if you don't wish to. It's all anonymous.

By the way, whether you reach out to a sighted volunteer who uses your
phones camera to assist you, or you use AI or another feature, Be My Eyes is
completely and totally free, (no matter how much you use it).

As we speak with Hans, I'm going to offer some suggestions on how to make
the service and the AI section even better, I know he'll be glad to hear
from all of us. You will have a chance to ask him questions and tell us all
how you use the service. We can all learn from each other, like we always do
on Sunrise and Shine.

Another good reason you'll want to come on the call Thursday is because, as
with many of our celebrations, Sunrise and Shine will be giving away cash
prizes to some lucky attendees. I'll be drawing a couple of names from the
attendance list and will be passing out some cold hard cash!

Now, I need a big favor from you. I'd like to fill the Zoom room up with
more visitors than we've ever had, so having you spread the word about the
call to as many folks in your circle as possible would be awesome. We
welcome folks from all over the globe, (it's not just a Florida thing). We
also don't limit the call to members of any particular organization.
Everyone is welcome. You also might know people who'd like to sign up as
volunteers for Be My Eyes, having them join us would be terrific and would
give them the chance to find out about how Be My Eyes helps us live our
lives better every day.

If you haven't been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for
coffee or tea will give you a chance to find out what you've been missing.
We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and participants and
for lots of warmth and laughter.

Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the
Zoom platform over the past few years and in fact, we've been using Zoom
since we launched Rise and Shine way back on April 16th2020. If you're not
used to using Zoom or if it's still giving you difficulties, don't give up
just yet. You can access the meeting by clicking on he below listed web
link, by using the one tap mobile feature or by dialing the phone number
provided and entering the access code when prompted.

The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to
see new faces.

Hope to have you with us this Thursday morning, see below for the Zoom info.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me before the
call. Check the bottom of this email for the Zoom call-in instructions.
