[NFBF-L] Miami-Dade Chapter elections Results

Good morning federation family:

 

The Miami-Dade Chapter held their chapter elections this past Thursday,
December 12, 2024.  The chapter had to postpone elections on October due to
hurricane Milton and on November because of our state convention.

 

Nonetheless, the chapter followed our constitution and held elections in our
face-to-face meeting this month.  The positions that were up for reelection
were as follows:  vice President, Treasurer, and board member 2.

 

Here are the results of the elections:

Bruce coleman was voted in as Vice President

John Williams was voted in as treasurer 

Rafael Fernandez was voted in as board member 2

 

I want to thank my past vice President John Johnson for being a loyal member
of the chapter for over 25 years as an active member of our chapter and
affiliate.  Furthermore, it was an honor and privledge to have such a
wonderful person as my Vice president, but most of all, a friend that I
cherish their friendship and I see him as part of my family.  John will
continue to be an active member of the chapter and will take on other
duties to ensure our chapter will continue to grow.  

 

Please join me in welcoming our new board members to leadership and also on
applauding those members who are stepping down from the board  and moving on
to other roles in our movement.
