[NFBF-L] NFB of Florida - No Legislative Concerns meeting this evening - we will reschedule...

Good early morning, Federation family,

 

We had discussed holding a Legislative Concerns meeting this evening,
(Tuesday, August 5th), while we were on a recent open NFB of Florida Board
meeting, held on Zoom. Unfortunately, both of your Legislative Directors are
unwell. I spoke with President, Camille Tate by phone yesterday and advised
her that I have been fighting some type of bug for a couple of weeks and she
confirmed that she in fact is fighting something very similar. We have not
been able to prepare adequately for a Zoom call tonight and so, would not
want to take everyone's time with a call that is not up to our high
standards.

 

We will continue to work towards having a call later this month and will
have some terrific information to share with you all concerning updates to
both Federal and State legislation.

 

Again, so sorry for the late notice and I hope you understand.
