*Step Into the Classroom with Confidence*

The Florida Association of Blind Students invites you to an empowering
panel:

*Advocating in the Classroom*

Three students will share their personal journeys—answering questions and
offering practical advice on how to self-advocate, break barriers, and
thrive in your academic life.

This tanel will cover:

   -

How to begin advocating for yourself as a student
   -

   Approaching instructors with confidence
   -

Building and maintaining professional relationships with professors
   -

Navigating and working with disability services specialists

Whether you are a new student navigating accommodations or a seasoned
learner seeking fresh strategies, this is your chance to hear directly from
peers who have been in your shoes.

*Date & Time:* Tomorrow, August 17th at 6:40 PM
*Location: *
https://nfb-org.zoom.us/j/96868427038?pwd=uGjKVEVLDm0bKblkcYTpmqXw1bXSZX.1

   -

Learn how to turn challenges into opportunities
   -

Connect with fellow students who understand your journey

This event is open to all blind and low-vision students ready to take
charge of their education. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and
advocate with confidence.
