Good morning, Sunrise and Shine Family!

Two weeks ago, on Sunrise and Shine with NFB-NEWSLINE we were watching the
tropics and double checking our hurricane preparedness kits. Even though we
still have months left on the calendar to keep an eye out for stormy skies,
it's time to start packing our bags for Altamonte Springs and the upcoming
fantastic NFB of Florida annual state convention. With deadlines for crucial
registrations quickly approaching, we thought that our last show for August
should be a much more upbeat one than the first show of the month was.

Tomorrow morning we'll not only review the basics of convention, (you know,
the who, what, when, where kind of stuff), but we'll also be announcing a
chance for you to score big in 2026. In order to take your shot at this
monster opportunity, you'll need to be in Altamonte Springs this October.

A good friend of 'Rise and Shine, Bob Schrepfer, owner and founder of The
Magnification Company, will also be joining us on our call. When Bob visited
us last year to tell us all about the Meta Smart Glasses, he promised to
come back and give us breaking-news updates. Well, Bob does have some great
announcements to share and he's excited about being with the wonderful SRS
family again tomorrow morning. Does Bob also have some information about
joining us at convention this year? I bet he does! I'll ask him later this
morning when we sit down together over a plate of corned beef hash and
cheese grits, (okay, do me a favor and don't tell my doctor about my menu
item choices).

I hope you will make time to join us tomorrow morning, it feels good to have
Sunrise and Shine back on a normal schedule of second and forth Thursdays of
each month beginning at 9:00 AM (EST). That obviously means that after
tomorrow, our next meetup will occur on September 11th, (we're planning a
very poignant gathering planned for that Zoom call gathering.

If you haven't been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for
coffee or tea will give you a chance to find out what you've been missing.
We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and participants and
for lots of warmth and laughter.

Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the
Zoom platform over the past few years and in fact, we've been using Zoom
since we launched Rise and Shine way back on April 16th2020. If you're not
used to using Zoom or if it's still giving you difficulties, don't give up

The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to
see new faces.
