Sherri, Scott and anyone else reading this,
That sounds like it could be fun and interesting and some members could have a really good time with it. Fro From my experience with my vocal Apple Store I attended a class on accessibility and in my own experiences with the Apple rep leading the class, instead of walking away with new knowledge, it seemed I had more knowledge than the Apple rapid. Sometimes it could be the walk of the draw as the person leading the class as to the extent of their knowledge on accessibility features and maybe it’s better than when I took that. The other and more relevant point that I wanted to make was that instead of voting people up on vans or buses to go to the Apple Store invite an apple rep to come to the hotel and give the class there.. the class could also be that as a hybrid, so those unable to attend the convention might also be able to listen via zoom and benefit from the class. This would also save time and additional cost of going to the store.. I do realize that some might enjoy getting out of the hotel and it could be a fun time and also spending some time in the local area depending what other kinds of shops might be around. However, in just considering cost to those attending the convention, they are expensive enough and trying to keep the cost down might be a value to some people. It would be interested in attending this type of program.. personally I like the idea and definitely has its benefits, but I’m bringing it up for discussion.
Regards, Paul Lewis
