Good morning, Sunrise and Shine Family!

Some of you may have been present this past Sunday evening at an NFB of
Florida open Affiliate Board meeting where Cindy and Kyle Kiper from Dream
Vacations presented information about an exciting cruise taking place next
year. At the end of the Q&A section, our very own Scott Siegel suggested
that an upcoming "Rise and Shine feature Dream Vacations as our special
guests. This was a terrific idea and so much so that, we'll have Cindy on
this week to give us a deep dive into the fabulous Norwegian cruise being
planned for 2026 and about how much fun cruising can be for blind people.

The cruise is not only going to be an amazing opportunity to visit some
beautiful Caribbean islands but will also serve as a fund-raising
opportunity for the NFB of Florida. Cindy will give us more details on this
aspect. I was asked to provide, (in advance of our Thursday gathering),
Cindy Kiper's contact info. She can be reached by phone at: 813-418-0647 or
by email at: ckiper at dreamvacations.com.

The weather, both here in Florida and around the country has been pretty
awful this winter and so I can't wait for us to get together on Thursday at
9:00 AM, (EST), to share our cruise experiences with one another. I know the
room will be full of folks who've taken to the high seas and have wonderful
memories of their shipboard experiences. I say this because I believe that
if you haven't taken a cruise before and perhaps think that as a blind
person, it's too challenging, I want you to reconsider those notions and let
those who've set sail tell you that cruising is very possible and can serve
up happy memories for a lifetime.

I'm going to ask you for a big favor here. Please think about people you
know who haven't been to a Sunrise and Shine, haven't been in a while or
maybe don't know about the call at all and encourage them to join us.
Bringing new attendees into the call is one of he most important ways of
keeping the twice a month gathering fresh and interesting. Everyone is
welcome, no matter where you're from or what you belong to.

Hope very much that you can hop in, even if it's for just a bit.

If you haven't been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for
coffee or tea will give you a chance to find out what you've been missing.
We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and participants and
for lots of warmth and laughter.

Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the
Zoom platform over the past few years and in fact, we've been using Zoom
since we launched Rise and Shine way back on April 16th2020. If you're not
used to using Zoom or if it's still giving you difficulties, don't give up
just yet. You can access the meeting by clicking on he below listed web
link, by using the one tap mobile feature or by dialing the phone number
provided and entering the access code when prompted.

The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to
see new faces.

Hope to have you with us this Thursday morning, see below for the Zoom info.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me before the
call. Check the bottom of this email for the Zoom call-in instructions.
