[NFBF-L] You're Invited: Statewide Chapter Meeting This Sunday

Hello Statewide Advocates,

You may have noticed that I’ve started calling you all “Statewide
Advocates,” and I think it’s a good way to summarize what our chapter is
all about. This chapter exists so that we, as blind Floridians, can unite
from all corners of the state to build a stronger Federation and a more
inclusive future. “Statewide Advocates” reflects who we are and the work we
do together.

With that spirit in mind, I want to warmly invite you to our next Statewide
Chapter business meeting, happening this Sunday, July 20 from 8:00 PM to
9:00 PM EDT. We have an exciting agenda ahead and would love for you to be
part of the conversation. Here are just a few of the things we’ll be
covering:

New Members

We’ve got some incredible new faces joining our chapter. Let’s give them
the warm welcome they deserve as they become part of our growing community.

Statewide Social Planning

Last meeting, we started talking about options for our chapter social for
state convention, Olive Garden or a hotel-based gathering. Let’s come to a
final decision together this Sunday.

City Pop Fundraiser

The snacks are still going strong! Our City Pop fundraiser is live and
includes a delicious selection of popcorn, pretzels, and even cotton candy.

State Convention Updates

We now have a dedicated hotel booking link, registration is open, and the
transportation guide has been released. We’ll talk through all of this and
answer any questions you all may have about the convention.
