Good evening, Federation family and friends,

On Saturday, October 18th, the Greater Jacksonville Chapter held its monthly meeting, and as is required in our constitution, during our October meeting we held elections for multiple Board positions.

Our President, Kaye Baker and Board Member, Marty Miller made the tough decision to not run for the positions they had held for many years. We are so proud of the accomplishments both Kaye and Marty have made and are honored by their selfless service to the National Federation of the Blind and to the blind and low vision communities both in Jacksonville and throughout Florida.

I am personally indebted to both Kaye and Marty for teaching me so much during the time that I have known them and have worked with them. On a personal note, I am also grateful to both Kaye and Marty for their wonderful friendship.

The results of the elections are as follows as well as a listing of all Board positions.
