[NFBF-L] Call for Resolutions 2026

Good evening, Florida Federationist,

 

I hope this message finds all well.

 

As we prepare for our 2026 State Convention, taking place October 9 -11,
2026, in Jacksonville, Florida, we are now formally requesting the
submission of resolutions for consideration.

 

Resolutions adopted at the convention become official policy of the National
Federation of the Blind of Florida and play a critical role in shaping the
direction and priorities of our organization.  This is your opportunity to
help influence the future of the Federation by identifying key issues and
proposing meaningful actions.

 

All members are encouraged to submit resolutions for review. The Resolutions
Committee will begin meeting at the end of July to review submissions,
discuss proposals, and finalize recommendations to be presented at the
convention. Additional meeting dates will be coordinated to ensure thorough
consideration of all submitted resolutions.

Please submit your proposed resolutions at your earliest convenience. If you
have questions regarding the creation of a resolution, verbiage needed for
the resolution, or would like to participate more actively in the
Resolutions Committee, do not hesitate to reply to jorge Hernandez,
resolution Chair at resolutions at nfbflorida.org
