The hotel reservation desk will be a few paces forward and to the right. On your left, you will find the ladies room, a seating area, the men’s room and another small seating area. NOTE: everything in the hotel lobby is on tile flooring except for the seating areas that are on carpet. All guest rooms are located in the tower area of the hotel so do not use the elevators near the front desk. Proceed past the registration desk and find the hallway headed north. Turn left here. You will walk quite a distance on carpeted flooring where on the left you will pass the ballroom, convention registration and the Business Center. Continuing north you will reach the bank of elevators on your left. Ice and vending machines are located in the laundry rooms on floors 2 and 5. Ice only is available in the laundry rooms on floors 3 and 4. To locate the laundry rooms, turn right when you exit the elevator. At the end of that hallway turn right and proceed to the end where the laundry room is on your right. On floors 6 through 12, ice machines will be found about 15 feet when you turn left exiting the elevators. You will find a set of emergency exit stairs when you exit the elevators, turn left and proceed approximately 20 feet. ? When you register for the convention, you will be given a badge to wear at all, times when you are away from your guest room. Hotel Orientation Tips (Cont’d) Break Out Rooms: All general sessions will be held in Tides Ballroom B and C. The exhibition hall will be in Ballroom A. The Albacore and Barracuda rooms are directly across the hall from the Tides Ballroom. Turn left just past the bank of elevators to locate additional restrooms on your left. Proceeding past the restrooms, you will find the Manatee room on your left. The Cobia and Dolphin rooms are on your right. The Reflections Restaurant The restaurant is directly across the hall from the elevators. There is also a convenience shop inside the restaurant where snacks, soft drinks and personal items can be purchased. Pool, Fitness Center, and Beach There is an inside pool and a hot tub through a set of glass doors on your left just past the hotel registration desk. If you continue past the entrance to the indoor pool through another set of glass doors, you will be in the outdoor pool area. There are two outdoor pools and a Tiki Bar. Across from the elevators there is another hallway through which you can gain access to the fitness center on the right and also access to the outdoor pool area. The gate for beach access is directly behind the Tiki Bar. Exit through the gate, turn left or right, go down three stairs and you are on the sand. NOTE: Be sure to have your room key with you at all times as most hotel exit doors will lock when you go outside. The Dog Relief Area Proceed past the hotel registration desk and turn right in front of the elevators that we will not be using. You will find a glass door on your left that you will enter and then turn right. Proceed down the carpeted hallway past several guest rooms until you reach the glass door that you will use to exit the hotel and locate the dog relief area. There is a cement walkway to the left and to the right of the door you have exited that is approximately 100 feet long – 50 feet on each side of the door. A five-foot wide grassy area parallels the entire walkway to be used for relieving your dog. Please take care to pick up thoroughly after your dog. There is a garbage can along with pick up bags near the door to the hotel. HAVE FUN!! ALPHABETICAL LISTING OF RESTAURANTS NEAR THE HOTEL Beach Bucket Bar & Grill 867 S.
