<P>I may be corrected on this by others who are more up to date than I, but I believe the legislation that was passed by Congress was for a task force and study by the companies manufacturing quiet cars and the safety people in the government to work out a way the silent cars could be heard, especially at those intersections where they are not at top speed and they go silent or in parking lots where the cars get below a certain speed and go quiet. They are trying to figure out a noise that will work. Not sure when they have to report back to the public when cars will have to be equipped with a device. Possibly some are already doing it as a prototype. Sorry, you all. I am not able to receive and open any links or attachments.
