We appreciate hearing your concerns about the Deaf-Blind meeting scheduled for Mother’s Day. The national Federation of the blind of Florida has supported the Deaf Blind division for many years. We have tried to work with the division to keep it open and will continue to support all of our divisions as long as they comply with the constitutions of the National Federation of the Blind and National Federation of the Blind of Florida. Additionally, the division has been meeting on this day and time for the past several years. The May meeting happens to fall on Mother’s Day. This could be adjusted for the month of May simply by contacting Second Vice President Camille Tate, who currently manages our affiliate Zoom account. <br></blockquote><blockquote type="cite" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"><br></blockquote><blockquote type="cite" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">We have a description of what is acceptable behavior on our email lists, that all subscribers must acknowledge prior to subscription to our email lists. We do not permit attacks against members, which includes members of our Board of Directors.
