Many of us are double checking our hotel and airline reservations and beginning the fun process of pouring through convention agendas. Without a doubt, most attendees will tell you that during conventions, a must-do aspect is the exhibit hall.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=xxxydpa0b28d76yiv8142210762ydp1f708a72yiv7079407128xmsonormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=xxxydpa0b28d76yiv8142210762ydp1f708a72yiv7079407128xmsonormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>No matter what workshops, presentations or other activities I have on my schedule, I always block out plenty of time to visit as many vendors as possible, (even if the hall is crowded and loud, the energy is amazing). In just one week, I’ll be in Austin, Texas for the National Federation of the Blind’s 86<sup>th</sup> annual convention and will certainly make locating the exhibit hall space at the JW Marriott a top priority. I’d venture to say that those heading to St. Louis for the ACB national convention later in July will do the same thing.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=xxxydpa0b28d76yiv8142210762ydp1f708a72yiv7079407128xmsonormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=xxxydpa0b28d76yiv8142210762ydp1f708a72yiv7079407128xmsonormal>During our Zoom gathering tomorrow morning, we’ll continue a long-standing ‘Rise and Shine tradition to welcome in, a few select vendors and sponsors to help spice up our review of the exhibit halls at both the NFB and ACB conventions. Our friends, Shawn Welker from Visual Eyes Access and Diane Ducharme from Blind Shell have both reached out and said they’d really like to be part of our Thursday morning get-together, (I couldn’t be happier).
