I just wanted to say a big “Thank You”, from Tekesha, who is the Chair of our Community Services Committee. I informed her that Melbourne would be donating $20 from Publix for the Boca Helping Hands food pantry and we would work on an eyeglasses and hearing aids drive for the Boca Lions Club. She was appreciative of our interest in the Community Service project.

The Community Service Group is excited to announce our community service projects during our state convention! We will be collecting eyeglasses and hearing aids during the roll call of chapters to donate to the Boca Lions Club; giving back always makes you feel better. We are hoping that each chapter and division will join us by donating a $5 Publix gift card so that we can donate to the food pantry at Boca Helping Hands.  

We are asking for everyone’s active participation to make these projects successful.

 Plant flowers in others' gardens and your life becomes a bouquet!
