Greetings everyone!

The date for our next meeting of the NFBF Senior Concerns Committee falls on Thursday, July 4, at 8:00 PM.  Of course July 4 is Independence Day, a major holiday, and we don’t want to schedule a meeting if everybody is doing other things and unable to call in. 

So, I am asking all of you who are interested in calling in on July 4 at 8:00 PM, please email me at glorianfbf at gmail.com <mailto:glorianfbf at gmail.com>  or respond to this message. If we have enough interested participants, we will hold our regular meeting. 

Whether or not we meet in July, our August meeting will take place on Thursday, August 1, at 8:00 PM. We plan on having an official from the Federal Communications Commission to address the topic of adding audible warnings for currently video-only announcements about hurricanes and other severe weather and disaster conditions, that appear on our TVs.
