Since this terrible pandemic hit the United States, and the rest of the world, Joyce has been kind enough to send weekly devotionals to those who wish to read them. Nobody is twisting my arm, or anybody’s arm to read her posts.

We have many on this register who are grateful hearing these words.

Those of us who have issue with these words, or for that matter any words of God that doesn't coincide with there religious beliefs can simply press delete.

I feel it is no longer the majority that rules, but those who yell and scream that we are infringing on there rights.

Well what about those of us who want to hear these words. By removing them, isn't that infringing on my rights?

Now words of hatred, nobody has the right to use them.

Even though I'm a Christian, we have many other religions, in this great country. I have listened to others concerning their religious beliefs, and I have interjected my own.

Just because others have subjected me to their religious opinions, doesn't mean that I have to approve of them. We all have our own beliefs, and that is the way it should be.

If any of you have attended a NFB National Convention, we always praise God both in Christianity, and Judaism.

When I receive emails, I read the subject. If I choose not to read it, I hit delete. Problem solved!

Good Morning Everyone!

Sunrise and Shine with NFB Newsline, our change of pace Zoom call with
Affiliate members and special guests is turning out to be a terrific  way
for folks to gather for a short while and share a morning beverage. we are
learning a little something each week about NFB Newsline and then segwaying
into a conversational topic. 
A couple of years ago, I decided to conduct a small study of  magazine content on both NFB Newsline and the NLS BARD site. I had wondered whether there was much duplication between the two content providers and if so, who was more current. Knowing that things change over time, I decided to take a look at this  little mystery again. I think that you will find the results of my latest  examination interesting, (I know I did :o) 

Join us this Thursday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. We always have lots of fun
on our calls, and the smiles and laughs seem to go on and on,  from start to
finish. My question to you is, who spilled the coffee beans about our
wonderful weekly call? Apparently during National Convention, word got out
to folks all over about how much fun Sunrise and Shine is, and so it
wouldn't surprise me  if we have some guests join us from outside of
Florida. Let's all welcome them and show them what hospitality from the
Sunshine State is all about.

We will use the Zoom platform for the call, but if you haven't spent much
time on Zoom, don't let that keep you away). There are several different
ways to call in, including the familiar conference call method of using your
landline or mobile phone to dial a phone number and  access code. I hope
that with Sunrise and Shines out of the ordinary time slot , we will get to
hear from some of the family and friends we have been missing.
