Hello Everyone! Please remember to keep our elderly NFVF members in prayer. Joe and Arlene Naulty are both in their 80’s and have been dedicated, committed and loyal members of the NFBF as well as the founders of the Melbourne Space Coast Chapter. Along with all of our NFBF seniors, please remember to lift them in your prayers.

Please be encouraged by Arlene’s email below which reminds us that if we are faithful over a few things, the Lord will make us ruler over many things (Matt. 25:23). Just Because you are content with what God has given you, He has granted you and Joe a bonding of faithfulness towards each other that you cannot find in this world today. I have personally witnessed no matter how tired you might be, you still exemplify strength and commitment no matter what, and I commend you for being an example to us to show what it means to keep a vow. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes . 5:5 that “it is better not to make a vow than to make a vow and not keep it.”

God bless,

Hey Joyce Just know I am not so smart About 10 days ago, I observed the recommendation

on cable TV. It was a psychiatrist or social worker talking about trying to keep a positive mindset.

What I am finding as each day passes, I am often thankful for something I was already thankful

for....If that is the case, I use it again. Most of us live very simple lives, we have a small number

of possessions, items that support our daily needs and then there are the little perks that happen

each day. I also found when frustrated (We have been totally isolated for 8 days) I clasp my

hands and say "Dear God, thank you and give me strength...then I try to think of one of the items

which I wrote down that day or a previous day.

Above all, I work on just rationalizing what is good in my life, being grateful for something in my

day and just taking that extra moment to say "Thank You, God" I have always found that

thanking God brings me back from any frustration or difficult challenge.

One little thought posted on my office wall....that came via Facebook from Jennifer Cleveland:

"You lack nothing"

"Use what I gave you"

GOD

I rest my case

We will get through this

Arlene

Hi Arlene: What a wonderful idea since we have so much time on our hands. I think I will start today! I do pray about things that we so often take for granted , but I do not journal them. I will begin typing my journal of four or more things daily to thank God for. I am positive that by the end of the week, the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages because God is so good.

If okay, Arlene, I would like to share this with the Communities of Faith Committee Members.

May God continue to bless you and Joe.

Love You!

Dr. JT

Good Evening, Joyce..

Thank you for the words of wisdom.

As my reminder to appreciate each day, I have started a journal.

The date is written at the top of the page

I write down four things for which I am grateful.

Simple stuff...hot water; our loving cat; food in the frig; a car that

starts; shelter; a warm bed. This has made me focus on all the

good things in my life.

Joyce, your support of our chapter has helped us grow.

Thank you for being there for all of us

Hope all is well with you and your son.
