Greetings MSCC Members: 

 

We are scheduled to hold our March chapter meeting on Saturday, March 13 at
10 a.m. The meeting invitation is below. I advise you to use the New York
phone number with area code 646 for the best audio reception. 

 

As a reminder, please ensure you are attending the meeting in an area
without background noise. If you can hear the noise in your background, then
so can everyone on the call. 

 

To mute yourself while on Zoom if you have dialed in: Pressing the star (*)
key, then the six (6) key will mute and unmute your phone. If you will not
be speaking, please mute your phone. When you wish to speak, you may unmute
and wait to be recognized. After you have finished speaking, please mute
your phone again. 

 

To mute yourself on Zoom if using the app on your phone: On your smart phone
or tablet, when using the Zoom app, there is a mute button in the lower left
corner. It is a toggle switch you can select to mute or unmute yourself. 

 

To mute yourself on Zoom while using a computer: If you are using a Windows
based computer, pressing the Alt key and the letter A will toggle the mute
or unmute function. If you are using a MAC computer, the command is Control
Option A. 

 

If you have been brought into the call by another person, please be aware of
any background noise on your end. We ask that you do not have conversations,
wash dishes, cook or do any other activity that will create noise in the
background. If you have been brought into the call by another person, I am
unable to mute your phone. Let's be respectful of the members who are
spending their Saturday mornings to attend our chapter meetings.
