> Greetings federationists,
> As we celebrate the last day of the year we look over our accomplishments, our failures, our successes, and are everything in between, and say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023.
>
> Take the time to sit down and reflect on all the good times and the bad times you May have encountered in 2022 and try to embrace them. As I sit back and think what the National Federation Of The Blind of Florida has done in 2022, I can only be please and delighted with all of the efforts and support that each and every one of you have shown to push forward the initiatives of the National Federation of the Blind of Florida.

> Some examples are, But not limited to, our 2022 Washington seminar was amazing, yes, it had to be virtual, but look how many members were able to attend whether they were speaking or just there for support. The State affiliate, with the assistance of our second vice president, Camille Tate launched a growing leaders workshop, Where several of you attended and grew as members of the national Federation of the blind. Denise Valkema started our sports and rec committee and Peggy fleischer started home wise. Two great committees or groups that help each of us be as independent as we want to be. last, but not least, We also orchestrated and conquered an amazing convention in Jacksonville Florida. Without leaders and members like yourself our organization cannot move forward at all. So I ask each and every one of you to continue to put on your hardhat with me as we move forward in 2023.
>
> I wish all of you a prosperous new year and Let’s go build the National Federation Of The Blind the Florida!
