Subject: [NFBF-Leaders] Sunrise and Shine is Happening Tomorrow - Thursday, September 8th @ 9:00 AM - SRS and NFB NEWSLINE Are Helping You Get Into the Game! Check it Out!

Good morning fans of Sunrise and Shine!

I hope you already had your calendars marked for our next scheduled Sunrise and Shine with NFB NEWSLINE®, many have come to learn that it occurs on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month beginning at 9:00 AM (Eastern). This would mean that our next call is tomorrow morning. So sorry for the late note from me. After traveling for two weeks, I’m finally settled back in at my home- field. I realized that a truly important event will take place tomorrow, (other than our Zoom call of course), that being the kickoff of the 2022 NFL season. With that in mind tomorrow seemed like a great day to uncover where the best sports related content can be found within the hundreds of publications on NFB-NEWSLINE. Other popular sports will be beginning their regular seasons soon too, like the NBA, NHL and college football and basketball. Major League Baseball is moving into the playoffs and October Classic, and for some, that’s the best time to watch the majors.

This NFB-NEWSLINE review won’t take up the whole call tomorrow morning, so if you’re not a big sports nut, don’t let that keep you away. We’ll have other fun things to talk about, like the last call I missed while traveling. I’ll need a report on how Peggy did as guest host and how much fun everyone had. Bringing a few funny things left over from last time would be great too. We’ll also want to review the upcoming NFB of Florida State Convention, set for October 7 – 9. There’s a big deadline looming that I don’t want anyone to miss.

If you haven’t been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for coffee, tea and doughnuts will give you a chance to find out what you’ve been missing. We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and participants and for lots of warmth and laughter.

Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the Zoom platform over the past couple of years and in fact, we’ve been using Zoom since we launched Rise and Shine way back on April 16th 2020. If you’re not used to using Zoom or if it’s still giving you difficulties, don’t give up just yet. You can access the meeting by clicking on he below listed web link, by using the one tap mobile feature or by dialing the phone number provided and entering the access code when prompted.

The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to see new faces.

Hope to have you with us Thursday morning, see below for the Zoom info.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me before the call. Check the bottom of this email for the Zoom call-in instructions.
