An Introduction to Mastodon

Many people have heard about and use the platform known as Twitter. However,
due to concerns regarding the uncertain future of Twitter's accessibility

many of Twitter's users, both blind and sighted, have migrated to a newer
platform called Mastodon. Mastodon has some distinct advantages over
Twitter.

Unlike Twitter you have a choice of several different programs that you can
use to access Mastodon. Many of them are extremely accessible and easy to
use.

But how exactly does Mastodon work? How do you sign up with your own
Mastodon account? We will answer these questions and will hopefully
demystify Mastodon.

for those of you who are curious about it during the next workshop from the
Florida Outreach Center for the Blind. Guest presenter David Goldfield will

introduce you to Mastodon and will answer your questions about this
platform.

*	A door prize will be given out to one lucky winner at the conclusion
of the presentation, but you must be present to win!
