Meeting Called to Order at 10:07 am
Roll Call:  Camille Tate, President, Joyce Taylor, Vice President, Board Members: Javier Molinares, Morgan Hazlett, Maria Rigogliosi

July 2023 Secretary's Report:  Motion to accept as emailed by Maria Rigogliosi, seconded by Morgan Hazlett

Treasurer's Report for the months of May, June and July, 2023 by Camille Tate
May $1,411.67 in checking and $1,544.36 in savingsJune $1,411.73 in checking and $1,544.44 in savings
July $1,771.78 in checking and $1,544.52 in savings
Motion to accept treasurers reports as read by Maria Rigogliosi and seconded by Nancy Hollo.


Money from the sale of World's Finest Chocolate candy was collected by Camille Tate.

President's Report by Camille Tate:  
There will be no chapter meeting in October due to the state convention.  

New Members
A motion to accept Mike Carnell and Milano Hyacinth as new members was made by Morgan Hazlett and seconded by Maria Rigogliosi. Aye votes were unanimous.


Elections
Office of the Vice President.  Nancy Hollo nominated Joyce Taylor.  Dean Martineau made a motion to cease and close nominations.  Maria Rigogliosi seconded.  Joyce Taylor was reelected Vice President by unanimous vote.
Office of Secretary.  Maria Rigogliosi nominated Nancy Hollo.  Joyce Taylor made a motion to cease and close nominations.  Dean Martineau seconded.  Nancy Hollo was elected Secretary by unanimous vote.
Office of Treasurer.  Joyce Taylor nominated Dean Martineau.  Milano Hyacinth nominated himself.  Maria Rigogliosi made a motion to cease and close nominations.  Dean Martineau seconded.  Dean Martineau withdrew as a candidate.  Milano Hyacinth was elected Treasurer by unanimous vote.
Board Seat #2.  Maria Rigogliosi nominated Morgan Hazlett.  Joyce Taylor made a motion to cease and close nominations. Nancy Hollo seconded.  Morgan Hazlett was reelected to Board Seat #2 by unanimous vote.
Board Seat #3.  Joyce Taylor nominated Javier Molinares.  Maria Rigoglios made a motion to cease and close nominations.  Nancy Hollo seconded.  Javier Molinares was reelected to Board Seat #3 by unanimous vote.

Board MeetingsIn the future, unless there are action items there may not be a board meeting that month.  It's also possible to vote by group email.


Maria Rigogliosi made a motion to adjourn.  Joyce Taylor seconded.  The meeting was adjourned at 12:09 p.m.
The next chapter meeting will be on Saturday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brevard Hispanic Center, 4670 Babcock St. NE, Palm Bay.  Transportation provided by SCAT.  Members may also participate via Zoom.
