Hello everyone! I pray that this e-mail finds you well.
Rejoyce Today is another dependable and caring resource for the blind and
visually impaired, and this e-mail serves as notification that Rejoyce Today
Resources Unlimited is a 501C3 Non-profit,
tax-deductible Organization which was launched on Nov. 3, 2020, and is up
and running and here to serve the blind and VISUALLY IMPAIRED community.
Mission Statement:
Rejoyce's Mission or Charge is to fulfill its purpose as a faith-based,
Non-profit Organization, helping to empower the blind and/or
visually-impaired or low-vision to live the lives they want with
independence and freedom to express or advocate for themselves.
Rejoyce Today will be among the first to respond to those in need of initial
direction as far as being referred to the appropriate resources. While
these clients are placed on hold or a waiting list, Rejoyce will step up to
the plate and assist, encourage, empower and engage with the blind to
satisfy the immediate needs of the clients.
Please join us as a sponsor or donor as we offer encouragement to the blind
community. No donation is too BIG or too small - we welcome them all.
Please feel free to refer anyone who is blind and/or visually-impaired or
low vision and need to be connected to resources or just need prayer or
direction. I, Dr. Joyce Taylor, will refer them to numerous resources that
are available which includes The Division of Blind Services (DBS), Conklin
Davis (formally CVI), The Brevard Association for the Advancement of the
Blind (BAAB), The National Federation of the Blind (NFB), Brevard Hispanic
Center (BHC), Talking Books Library (NLS) and Para Transit SCAT).
All of the above are FREE!
Today, July 9th, is my blind date; I have been totally blind for 23 years
and want to assist in STRENGTHENING the blind community to reach their
maximum potential.
I have and am presently volunteering as an instructor for The Brevard
Association for the Advancement of the Blind for approx. 9 years teaching
computers (JAWS which is a screen reader) and I-phone gestures to the blind.
No need to wander around not knowing what to do next. Let Rejoyce Today
assist the blind by encouraging and educating them to fulfill their purpose
in life, and I am looking forward to being the first to put a white cane in
their hands, also talking watches upon completion of course.
Sincerely,
Dr. Joyce Taylor, President
