HELLO MSCC MEMBERS,  IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED OR PLAN TO ATTEND THE NOV. CONVENTION, PLEASE LET ME KNOW  BECAUSE WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE TO REPRESENT THE MSCC.

HI MILANO, I PRAY THAT YOU & YOUR FAMILY ARE WELL.  PLEASE THANK YOUR WIFE FOR THE DELICIOUS COOKIES.  MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS HER JUST BECAUSE SHE IS A BLESSING TO OTHERS.

MILANO, AS YOU  CAN SEE BY THE FORWARDED E-MAIL, THE GROUP THAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO RIDE WITH, MARILYN BALDWIN, ARE NOT GOING, SO I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING AND AM ASKING IF YOU WOULD CONSIDER BEING THE DELEGATE FOR OUR CHAPTER AT THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE MEETING SAT. MORNING 11/9?    OF COURSE, THAT IS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO GO.

YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO NOMINATE ANYONE, NOR DO YOU HAVE TO VOTE FOR ANYONE, JUST OBSERVE AND BE PRESSENT REPRESENTING THE MSCC.  YOU WILL BE THE DELEGATE, AND THERE WILL BE NO ALTERNATE.  IN ATTENDANCE WILL BE TWO, CAMILLE AND YOU, UNLESS SOMEONE ELSE SHOWS UP FROM MSCC LIKE ALLEN, DEBRA MARTIN  OR TANVEER SYED WHO HAVE SHOEWED UP AT OTHER CONVENTIONS.  SINCE CAMILLE IS RUNNING FOR STATE PRESIDENT, SHE PROBABLY CANNOT BE DELEGATE OR ALTERNNATE  FOR HER CHAPTER.  MORGAN AND I BOTH CANNOT ATTEND DUE TO TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER REASONS WHICH DEVELOPED ON THURAS.  

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN REPRESENT THE MSCC THIS YEAR.  I WILL REACH OUT TO ALAN, DEB MARTIN & TANVEER TODAY TO SEE IF WE CAN GET AN ALTERNATE AS WELL.

Subject: 2024 Rescheduled State Convention Delegates and Attendees 

Sylvia, 

Please see the information below, in this email, regarding your request for the names of people from our Chapter that will not be attending the convention next weekend. I believe that I have accounted for all of our members, that were planning to attend the 2024 NFBF State Convention. 

I am not feeling well, and will not be able to attend the State Convention this coming weekend of November 8-10, 2024. Due to the new dates  of the State Convention, many of our members that were going to attend in October, are not available this coming weekend. One of our new members, Terry Suarez will be there for the Convention next week also. Melissa Loucks will be attending the convention , and Sherri Brun is not certain about her availability due to work and transportation. 

My doctor has changed the dosage of some of the many medications that I take daily. I am also still waiting for new glasses, because my old ones are broken. I will talk with Doug and Russ, about our Deaf Blind seminar and see if someone is willing to facilitate the program for our Diversity seminar. Thank you for your patience and understanding. This was not an easy decision for me to make because of my Seminar responsibilities. 

I hope that you are feeling well, and will take good care of your health .  

My apologies for the lateness of this email. My AOL email access, was down all week , due to technical problems. I must admit that I was lost without email access in conducting business this week. I hope that we have this issue resolved for now. Please accept my sincere apologies. 

Melissa Loucks will serve as the Delegate from our Chapter, and if in attendance, Sherri Brun will be the Alternate Delegate. Karolyn Campbell, Charlotte Campbell, Maggie Battis, and Tashara Cooper and Josiah Baker will not be in attendance for the Convention next week. Due to illness, as stated above, I will not be attending the Convention as well. 

We hope and pray that you all will have a safe and productive weekend during the activities of the 2024 State Convention in Jacksonville. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or need additional information.
