[NFBF-Melbourne] prayers and support for arlene

Hello MSCC Board:  This e-mail has been generated  for purposes of prayer for a circumstance that seems to not be getting the attention it deserves.  Being that Arlene is not only the Founder, but a faithful member of our Chapter, I, as President, am reaching out to the Board, as well as our Chapter, to not only pray but lets support Arlene in her endeavors; remembering that we have deaf blind or just deaf members in our  Chapter (Morgan, Bill)

 

Of course, Arlene is saddened that the Scholarship in the amount of $2,600 in the memory of the late Joseph B. Naulty, Founder of our Chapter, will not be awarded this year.  However, if you agree, we will let our voices be heard in unity to support our fellow member to make sure this Scholarship  is awarded to a student that is both deaf and blind next year. Unfortunately, again, since the Scholarship will not be presented this year; let us "PUSH" (Pray Until Something Happens) and also support.

Dear Arlene, I know that you are troubled about the Joe Naulty Scholarship fund in memory of your dear husband Joe. I say to you with my whole heart, that I will not rest, until this Scholarship is awarded to a student that is both deaf and blind. We are all saddened that the Scholarship will not be presented this year.

 

I am asking you to join me in trusting God to help us in the job of using this Scholarship for the education and planning purposes that it is intended to be used for.,God knows what is needed in this situation, He wants us to be patient and trust in his good will.

 

After the Election of the New State Board, we will ask for a meeting with to, than to as stated discuss awarding this Soecial Scholarship. This may take more than one meeting and not allowing them to use the Scholarship money for any other purpose than to help people who are DeafBlind, and to provide the necessary Accommodations to assist them in completing the Scholarship form.

 

Continue to trust in God with all of your heart, and lean not on your own power  and understanding. Jesus is going to work this out for us. I refuse to get weary from doing good work, and I pray the same for you. I copied Dr. Joyce on this my heart filled letter to you. We will get through this and come out on the other side with a testimony.
