Are you interested in participating in legislation on behalf of the National
Federation of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind of Florida?
Our legislative season has opened and will run for most of the year. We are
excited to bring our advocacy efforts and issues of vital importance to our
state and national legislators. We have some important legislation for our
state that can and will affect the lives of blind people where we live. If
you are interested in learning about our priorities and how to effectively
share them with those who make decisions on our behalf, please let us know.
We would like to have a legislative training during our next chapter
meeting. Here you will learn how we present and the protocols we use that
have made us the premier and transformative civil rights organization by and
for blind people. 

 

Let our chapter President, Joyce Taylor know of your interest so she can
plan our next meeting accordingly. Let us build the National Federation of
the Blind of Florida!
