Learn to Advocate for Accessibility
Tuesday, June 24, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Eastern via Zoom
Finding accessibility issues in the technical products you use can be a
frustrating experience. Such issues can make completing tasks more difficult
and limit certain features of the product. Fortunately, companies often
respond best when you, the user, reach out to report the problems you're
having with a product. You also don't need technical knowledge to provide
actionable reports to developers.
Join the National Federation of the Blind Center of Excellence in Nonvisual
Accessibility on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. to learn how
to advocate for accessibility improvements. We will cover:
* What information you need to create a report and how to gather it
* How to contact the right department or person at a company
* How to compile a detailed issue report
* What you can try when a company doesn't respond
* Our inaccessibility tracker form, where you can share your
experiences.
Register for the Advocating for Accessibility Refresh boutique.
