Good evening Miami-Dade Chapter members

 

The October chapter monthly meeting will be held one week earlier.    The date will be on October 11, 2018 <x-apple-data-detectors://0> and we will be having the Miami-Dade Elections Office demonstrating the accessible voting machines.  Also, the meeting will be held from 6:00 pm through 7:30 pm <x-apple-data-detectors://1> .  This time is also different from our regular meeting schedule.  

 

With the mid-term election on November 6 <x-apple-data-detectors://2> , this gives us the opportunity to learn how to use these devices.  Voting is our right as citizens; the wright to vote independently is a privilege that all citizens have; we as blind individuals have the same rights as our sighted peers.

 

Let’s mark on our calendars the time for our October meeting.
