Urban Health Partnerships (UHP) is hiring Miami-Dade County residents as Community Liaisons from the communities shared below to collaborate in the Miami-Dade County New Mobility Initiative. The initiative is a collaboration between Miami-Dade County, UHP, and Ford Mobility’s City:One program, with the goal of bringing new, innovative mobility solutions to the County.
We are seeking to hire residents as Community Liaisons for this project in support of building capacity and knowledge about critical issues related to mobility, public spaces, community health, and organizing.
We Are Seeking Residents to Apply from the Following Communities:
* Aventura
* Carol City
* Miami Gardens
* Homestead
* Florida City
* Hialeah
* Liberty City
* Little Haiti
* Little Havana
* Overtown
* Downtown Miami & Brickell
* Miami Beach
* Pinecrest
* Sweetwater
Community Liaisons will:
* Assist and be involved in all components of project implementation, engaging with residents to share insight on new mobility technologies and gather feedback
* Lead engagements and outreach to their communities through events, social media, phone/text banking, emailing, flyering, and door-knocking/canvassing
* Participate in experiential on-the-job training, which includes:
* In-person and virtual training
* Field experience, such as attending meetings with County staff and officials, tech companies, and learning about and leading fieldwork
Compensation:
* Compensation is $15 per hour, based on experience
* Access to benefits that support family care, travel, and professional support

Participate in Focus Groups or Interviews
Virtual Focus Groups for Participants from Agencies & Community Based Organizations*
As part of the community engagement effort, we are seeking participants from agencies and community-based organizations for virtual focus group interviews led by Ford to discuss the community’s mobility needs and attitudes toward new mobility solutions and technologies. Scheduling for focus group interviews will begin on August 23. Sign-up now to reserve your spot.
All non-governmental participants will be compensated. If you or a colleague are interested in volunteering to participate in the 60-75 minute virtual focus group interviews, please complete this brief form:

One-on-One Interviews with Miami-Dade County Residents*
We are also seeking participation from residents of the above-listed communities to participate in 60-75 minute in-depth interviews or as dscout (i.e. video diaries**) users regarding their unique experience, needs, and priorities with mobility.
