Greetings Florida: 

 

The National Federation of the Blind of Florida has created our convention
planning committee for National Convention to begin meeting on Sunday, March
10 at 7 p.m. The committee will meet on the second Sunday of the month until
National Convention, unless there is a need to meet outside of this date. We
are honored and excited to host the return of National Convention to Florida
and welcome members of the National Federation of the Blind back to the
Sunshine State! The National Federation of the Blind of Florida invite our
affiliate members to participate in the planning process for our
responsibilities for National Convention. As a reminder, we are looking for
participation with the following items: 

 

* Information table

* Hospitality suite

* Exhibit hall

* Opening ceremonies

* Fun activity for one night of convention (optional) 

 

Let's not forget fundraising! This is an opportunity for Florida to shine
and have a fundraising project to continue the work of the Federation. Come
to our planning session and bring your fresh, innovative and fun ideas! 

 

Let's make this the best convention and build the National Federation of the
Blind. The Zoom information is below. 

 

Note: We have created an in box for both National and State Convention to
keep all information sharing efficient. Please direct any ideas or other
thoughts on both of our conventions by using convention at nfbflorida.org

information is for in the email as both convention planning chairs are
