[NFBF-Miami-Dade] change of chapter meeting date

Good evening all,

 

My apologies for the late response.  I got back to Florida last night from Washington DC.

 

As per the meeting date, it will be on the 24th of April because we will not have quorum to hold our business meeting.  As far as the raffle, it is concerning me that we have not have any concrete information for the tickets and the date of the 17th of may might not be such a profitable event as a fundraiser.

I will send an Email out to the Miami-Dade Chapter listserv with the new meeting date.  Please let’s all reach out to the membership to advice them of the new date.

 

We will also need to contact the restaurant in advance to let them know of the meeting date.  Last time we changed the date and the manager was not too pleased when we arrived.

I would like to propose a change to our chapter meeting for this month.  

 

The normal meeting date is the Thursday before “Good Friday” and some members have asked to see if we can move the date so they can participate on the religious day of Thursday and Friday.  

 

I would like to know if we can meet on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 6:30PM.  This way those members who celebrate the religious dates of “Good Friday” and Thursday’s evening events can do so.

 

Please reply to all  so we can all be on the same page.

 

I will be in Washington D.C.  for the next 4 days in meting’s with governmental officials and will have limited Email access during the day but will be able to respond to your enquiries in the evenings.
