I agree it is an important demonstration! Cutting routes is not a benefit!

Thank you Dan for this information! I find it interesting how we had a representative from Hart to come out and discuss these changes, and they gave us incorrect answers. I still Think that the demonstration is extremely important. So, I hope all of you are making plans to be in attendance. We need all hands on deck for this project. Thanks

Hi Merry,

It looks to me like the 19, after the changes, will still serve the DBS office, the Lighthouse, and TGH, but differently. 19 goes west on Platt past the Lighthouse, but it comes back on Swann -- not Cleveland, as it does now.

If I am reading their blurry, low-resolution map correctly, it only goes a couple of blocks from DBS -- along Swann, then it turns north on Howard, and turns east on Platt. So, you can get off at Platt and Howard and take Platt to Armenia. Not great sidewalks.

I called to cancel my HART Plus trips for tomorrow and while I did I inquired about the info Louise provided us....
He stated that the route 19 was serving DBS, The Lighthouse, and Tampa General Hospital; however, he has given me inaccurate information in the past. I tried to reach Kemly Green and the gentleman that came to our office; neither answered their phones but I left both a voicemail. I think chapter members need to start bombarding the higher ups to get this information confirmed or denied. However, I believe there are enough cuts to hold a great demonstration anyway!

Just my humble opinion (:P)
Merry

Greetings,

I hope you all are happy and well. I would like to thank each and every one of you for joining us on Saturday’s meeting.

During this meeting we had a representative from Hart who elaborated on the proposal that hart wants to take in effect. This proposal is not right and will affect all of us, weather we ride a fix route, or paratransit, our lives and independence is at stake.

We, will be doing a demonstration on Weds day, July 26th before the public meeting. I need each and every one of you to help with this initiative and be there.

More details will be release as soon as I can provide more. However, Please take the time to commit in being there. We are stronger in numbers, and if you do not want this proposal to go through I, will need all hands on deck.

P.S. The address for the public meeting is 1201 E. 7th Ave

Please call if you have any questions.
