I would first like to thank each and every one of you who have called, text, emailed, and prayed regarding my family in Puerto Rico. The prayers and thoughts have worked! I heard today from my brother and nephew, who are doing well! However, just like many people in the island they are desperately in need of food and water. If you know of an organization that is doing a food drive please contribute whatever you can. Thanks!

I am still waiting for a phone call from them. Have not heard from no one in my family. I think they are OK but the fear of the unknown is really stressing me out. Yesterday and today I will be sending my brother more food supplies because, the people in the island may have money but the grocery stores have not received shipment to restock. Thanks for asking

On Sunday, September 24 my church will be collecting non-perishable Items to send to Puerto Rico and  Mexico. I ask that you join forces with me and help those who have lost so much. Some items include, but not Limited to: can food, can milk, baby formula, diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer,  toilet paper, toothbrush, soap, toothpaste, water, and anything else you desire.

 

So, dig into your pantry and bring whatever you can! I thank all of you in advance, and I will see you tomorrow at the chapter meeting!

 

Like Madame president says, we are stronger together, when we work together!
