Well, Marion, I was treasurer of the Atlanta Chapter of the FFB quite a
few years ago, and had many friends who were active in the FFB, both at
the local and the national level. When they pulled that stunt, I lost
it. My strong negative reaction to that campaign cost me several
friends, but despite strong criticism from many of us they continued
with the fundraising campaign. Many of their donors were quite wealthy,
but they had a patronizing attitude toward the blind.
