[NFBF-Tampa] Sorry to miss the meeting

Hi Dan and Gloria,

 

Thanks much, Dan, for sending us this update, as we were all concerned and thinking of you both throughout the meeting.

I’m sorry you missed the meeting, as it was the biggest party in the history of our chapter (haha!)

Well, maybe not quite, but we did have a good meeting, with lots of brainstorming about our state convention.

Take it easy, Gloria, and we know we’ll see you next month at Beefs, especially since it will be past  that big day of April 15!

Fellow Chapter members, 

 

Gloria and I are sorry to have missed the chapter meeting. We were looking forward to attending. 

 

Gloria woke up this morning with severe abdominal pain, nausea, and other complications. We went to the Emergency Room at Memorial Hospital where they started an IV, checked her, and ran tests. Her appendix is okay – we had feared complications with that – so this is a good thing. She probably has an infection, which is being treated. She is to rest and eat lightly for a couple of days and she should be fine.
